Maricopa County Air Quality Department: Clean Air App and Marketing Campaign

Clean Air Make More

A Clean Air and Healthy Lives Initiative from the Maricopa County Air Quality Department

The Maricopa County Air Quality Department is a regulatory agency whose goal is to ensure federal clean air standards are achieved and maintained for the residents and visitors of Maricopa County, Arizona. The Clean Air Make More outreach initiative was created in 2008 to inform county residents about air pollution challenges and provide them with tools needed to take action.

Since 2011, Catywampus has worked with the County to promote Clean Air awareness.  Recent projects include the award-winning Clean Air app for iOS & Android and the highly-successful Creature of New Habits summer ozone campaign, featuring a killer 30-second animated spot.

Character Development

for the Creature of New Habits campaign

We’re all creatures of habit, often doing things on auto-pilot because that’s just how they’ve always been done.  With Clean Air Make More’s seven daily pollution reduction commitments, we can break the routines—little by little—in order to be better creatures for our environment.
